The initial goal of the project is to change the perception of Central American and Mexican immigrants. Designed as a awareness campaign, the project also called its public to action through the act of placing stickers of missing migrants onto milk cartons in grocery stores. The project also aims to draw more attention to the missing migrants crisis and its causes, including the militarized US/Mexico border, root causes of migration, among others. ¿Have you seen them? recontextualizes the cultural trope of milk cartons as the medium for missing persons in the U.S.
